CONCEPT ©

The ESIA Ar      from MAAS Spectrometry, is an isotope ratio mass spectrometer configured for specific target elements, aimed at laboratories who want routine high precision isotope ratio measurements easily and reliably. The collector is easily interchangeable to enable different elements to be targeted. The initial collector has been designed to target Lithium isotopes, and currently a collector is being developed to target Strontium isotopes. Further collector designs for other elements are being developed.

We design and manufacture instruments dedicated to high-precision isotopic analysis of specific target elements. Each system is engineered around the application.

Engineered for Reliability

Built for dependable, long-term operation with a strong emphasis on simplicity of use, ensuring consistent performance.

Dedicated Technical Support

Efficient, dedicated service and technical support throughout the system lifecycle, working closely with customers to ensure continued performance and reliability.

In-House Control Electronics

Electronic control systems are designed and manufactured in-house, enabling iteration to meet customer-specific requirements while maintaining independence from external suppliers.

Desolvating Nebulizer System

APPLICATION

ICP-MS sample introduction for high-sensitivity trace element analysis

PERFORMANCE

Significant improvement in analyte sensitivity with reduced oxide and hydride interferences

COMPATIBILITY

Windows 10/11 software for remote operation

System Overview

The all new DSN Desolvating nebuliser system, a joint development by AJB Instrumentation Ltd and MAAS Spectrometry Ltd is now available. Sold and supported by AJB Instrumentation Ltd and manufactured in the UK by MAAS Spectrometry Ltd.

The DSN is a liquid sample introduction system for ICP-MS applications increasing overall sensitivity whilst reducing oxide and hydride interferences. By combining controlled desolvation with precision gas flow management, the DSN enhances analyte transport efficiency while removing solvent vapours prior to ionization by the plasma.
